If not, why not? Feeing overwhelmed? Suffering writer’s block? Can’t hit a deadline with a truck? No idea how to schedule your writing time, or organize your writing projects?
I’m the cure for analysis paralysis!
“KimBoo is a great help for getting on with getting work done. She’s a great cheerleader and her help with the planning of my work was absolutely excellent. I would definitely recommend working with her if you need to get down to writing and want someone by your side!” ~ N.
“KimBoo is a helpful, spirited, enthusiastic, non-judgmental writing coach. Our Zoom calls are inspiring and full of insights. I recommend her highly and I plan to keep buying her services.” ~ B.
I can help you with Process, Productivity, and Mindset!
I am former project manager and professional author who understands the stress of writing, the frustrations of not writing, and the amazing, awesome feeling of having written the thing!
My Credentials
I have 25+ years writing experience across multiple fields including fiction and non-fiction books, journalism, technical documentation, and marketing copy. I earned a master’s degree in library and information studies from Florida State University in 2012, with a concentration in archives and the history of text technology.
As a holistic productivity coach for writers and other creatives, I help people find the time and motivation to write, as well as strategize their author business. The accountability and coaching I provide is not punitive. My focus is always on encouraging, motivating, and supporting writers!
How To Hire Me:
For a more secure contract, you can hire me on Fiverr. You can find me there, shockingly, as “KimBoo York”!
Alternatively, you can email me, where I handle all transactions via Venmo or PayPal.
Current Rates
My basic rate is $75 an hour. You can get a discount on that by hiring me via a gig on fiverr, or by setting up a monthly coaching plan.
What I am Not
I am not an editor! I’m not bad at editing but it is definitely not one of my strengths. Please don’t ask me to read your book!
However, if you have never worked with an editor before, I am happy to coach you on what kind of editor to look for, the questions you need to ask before hiring and editor, and how to set expectations with them.
