As someone very early into their writing journey, I’m glad I read this. I feel that I need to experiment more and be more realistic with my goals. I really don’t want to experience burnout

Thank you for the compliments, though. I think a lot of newer authors tend to get down in the weeds of what COULD be done and don't spend enough time thinking about what they are actually willing/able to do. <3
This is true. I have a vague plan that I need to sharpen so I can see what happens when hold to it. There are so many more options now that it should feel easier, but it often doesn't.
