What is sleep?
I guess when you decide to start a whole business venture (Serial Nation!) while working part time for your alma mater’s independent alumni organization (Novo Collegian Alliance!) while also updating backlist books to republish (so many books!) while also writing new fiction (Dragon’s Grail!) while also staying fed, hydrated, and rested is…uhm, a lot? Yikes.

Oh yeah, it’s LIVE! I’ve created it to be THE best place to learn about the craft and business of serials, serialization, and the subscription model.
There are plenty of wonderful teachers who are out there talking about serializing on substack, and I don’t mean to take anything from their expertise, but I cast a wider net. Is substack best for you? What about Ream and Wattpad and Kindle Vella…oh, right, that last one folded. What does that mean? Are opportunities growing or reducing? What about the effect of A.I. on serialization?
Those are the questions I grapple with, and want to share my insights and discoveries with you!
