It’s…JULY?!?!?!? Holy moly, what the heck has happened to this year? I admit, it’s not been a great year for me or many people I know, but on the other hand I am so grateful for all the support people have given me. I’m still floating on rough waters but things continue to trend towards better.
Recap
I’m in a “pause” for my fiction stories right now. Dragon’s Grail arc 2, The Lost City, begins posting later this week though! And I’m almost at the point of restarting posting for Transmigrated Teri too. In the meantime:
Grieving Futures is almost wrapped on Patience & Fortitude with the chapter “Reflection: Grieving Futures.” This is penultimate chapter of Grieving Futures: Surviving the Deaths of My Parents!
Another Task Mistress post went up here on the Scriptorium, this time all about how to avoid burnout: “Don’t Fear the (Burnout) Beast.”
Do you follow me on tumblr? You should! I reblog a lot of gorgeous fanart for multiple c-dramas and sometimes talk about fandom, writing, and my OTP (me/fanfiction).
My almost-daily series of #CoffeeWithKimBoo short vids continues on YouTube and Instagram! Start your day with me!
Help Request Continues!
My GoFundMe campaign is ongoing! Please chip in if you can to help me stay housed and continue to grow my writing business!
If you would like to help more directly, here are wish lists for both me and Keely on ‘zon:
Other ways to help are to buy a subscription to this blog, buy my books, and/or subscribe to my fiction platform on Ream!
Writing
I’m nearly at 30,000 words into Transmigrated Teri. At last, I think I have good grip on Teri as a character: her internal conflict, her ‘voice,’ and her future emotional arc. Which means that I am finally at a point to re-start posting chapters! Soon!!!!
As I mentioned above, this week also marks the beginning of the second arc of the serial Dragon’s Grail. I’m both nervous and super excited to get this project rolling again! If you need to catch up on this Ream-exclusive story, check out the first arc, Escape from Ice Mountain.
It’s a Keely-Boo World
Keely health is still holding up, for which I am immensely grateful.
We are now sliding out of the house by 6am to avoid the sun and heat, but it’s still nearly 80°F by then, with 75% humidity. Her fur is very absorbant so by the time we get home, Keely is a floppy, moist mop of a dog. Neither of us is happy about this, but she at least submits to being brushed out and wiped down with minimal fuss.
Here she is plopped down on a porch chair, wondering what the heck I’m doing:
Thanks for reading Keely’s Way!
