It’s been…a week! Whew! The New College of Florida alt-grad and reunion was wonderful, bittersweet, and exhausting. How did I ever forget just how gall-danged hot Sarasota is?????
Anyway, updates below and a new Keely photo for you to enjoy!
Help Request Continues!
My GoFundMe campaign is ongoing! Please chip in if you can to help me stay housed and continue to grow my writing business!
If you would like to help more directly, here are wish lists for both me and Keely on ‘zon:
Writing
Nearly at the end of Arc 1 of Dragon’s Grail, “Escape from Ice Mountain,” with just three more installments to go! I spent a long time re-working the entire story to what it is now and I’m surprised that I’m almost done posting it. I’ll probably pause for a couple of weeks before starting Arc 2, “The Lost City.”
I had a big breakthrough with Transmigrated Teri! I realized I was not trusting my intuition enough, you know, that thing I always tell authors to do? LOL! The challenge for me is writing a story where the main character doesn’t believe the world she is in is real (she thinks she’s in a coma…and maybe she is!). By her perspective, nothing she does should have any consequences for her, but the truth is they do. I need her to find that out in a way that is not too traumatic for the characters around her!
Keely & Co.
We’re getting out earlier, due to the heat starting to rise quickly once the sun is up. Not summer weather just yet, but it’s creeping up on us. Keely is not any happier about getting out before dawn than I am, to be honest! Here’s an early morning Keely, haunting the ducks!

I’ve been on some podcasts!
The Writer’s Ink interview was recorded back in January but just came out on May 13th! It is focused on serials and serialization and JP Rindfleisch asked some really amazing questions!
The Wish I’d Known Then podcast is more up to date, and was a great conversation with Sara and Jami. I love them dearly (their podcast is one I’ve listened to for a long time) and we always have a good time chatting, which you can tell because we laugh a lot. It’s my second appearance on their podcast and I hope not the last!
I’ve started an almost-daily check-in on YouTube shorts called #CoffeeWithKimBoo. Check it out and subscribe! I’m also going to be doing more podcast episodes for my own podcast, as well as author-reads of some of my books. Join me!
Thanks for reading Keely’s Way!
Please subscribe to have this dumped in your inbox every week, and also check out my website where you can find all my books, my ongoing serial stories, and information about the 1 Million Words Club membership community for writers!
