Fist!bump!!! The rejiggering is exhausting tbh but I think I've finally hit on a branding plan that works for and WITH me, instead of against me. At last!
This hit hard. I have three pen names. Have not used one because I have, frankly, been a little shamed by others about all the different types of things I like to write. Which has lent to being frozen creatively. And wild, tumbling piles of paper and and mostly-finished work and notes on my desk. I'm over it. I'm "this close" (fingers very close together) to tossing all of them and just being me.
Only you can make the choice that is right for you, of course, but I have to say I really love living my life with everything under one banner. It does, as many told me it would, make marketing harder. I'm still in the process of plucking my "true fans" out of the wilds of the interwebz. But it's been the right choice for me!
