Catalyst
Life is full of moments we cannot hold onto, yet each is precious precisely because it is fleeting.
Insight
Sadness often lingers when something good comes to an end, but happiness grows when you focus on the gratitude for having experienced it. Happiness leaves gratitude, not regret, in its wake. Choosing to treasure those moments and celebrate the impact they’ve had allows happiness to outlast endings.
Instead of wishing for what was, remember the positive elements what it gave you, whether that is joyful memories, important lessons, or simple pleasure in the moment. By doing so, happiness becomes part of how you carry those experiences into the future.
Reflection
Think of a moment or chapter in your life that has ended. How might you focus on the gratitude for what it gave you instead of dwelling on what is gone?
